“I am the Gym and Group Exercise Co-ordinator for Wave Leisure Trust. This means I am responsible for looking after the gyms and gym teams across all our sites, as well as looking after everything Group Exercise orientated – timetabling, monitoring the health of those timetables, equipment needs, feedback, events…if it’s Group Exercise, I’m your girl.
“I’ve been working in Fitness for eight years now and actually got my first fitness job with Wave as a Fitness Instructor at the Downs Leisure Centre in Seaford where I spent a very happy few years learning the trade. Since then I’ve worked as a Class Instructor, Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Manager before returning to Wave to put all those skills learned to good use! My love of fitness was fed straight from my passion for dance. Having worked professionally for a short time, fitness seemed like a natural progression and learning more about how the body works and pushing the limits of what my body is capable of has been thrilling. I haven’t looked back! I must admit though…when it comes to instructing, I’m in my element when it’s dance-based!“
