Exciting Peacehaven Leisure Centre Gym Refurbishment Underway!

 

We are very pleased to announce that Peacehaven Leisure Centre is embarking on a major refurbishment to bring you a bigger, better, and improved gym experience.

This project will transform the facility into a fully equipped, modern fitness hub, to ensure we continue to meet your fitness needs and support your personal health goals.

 

What’s Happening?

The refurbishment will be completed in three phases:

Phase 1: Expanding the Gym Space

  • The current gym will be expanded into the squash courts, to allow for the creation of the brand-new functional and strength training area.
  • The Squash courts will close at the beginning of December, allowing work to begin immediately.

Phase 2: Reception and Entry Refurbishment

  • We’re updating the reception and entry area to ensure the Centre makes a great first impression.
  • A fresh new look and feel will create a warm, welcoming environment from the moment you arrive.

Phase 3: Gym Refresh

  • The existing gym will undergo a refurbishment during February half-term to align it with the new gym design plan.
  • This phase will complete the transformation.

 

Group Exercise Classes During the Refurb

During the gym expansion, there will be some temporary changes to Group Exercise Classes starting 2nd December. These changes include:

  • Adjusted class times
  • New locations
  • Reduced class capacity or cancellations
  • Don’t worry – you can find the revised timetable here or you can visit the app.

 

What Else Is New? Functional Group Training Classes!

Following the refurbishment, we’ll be launching BRAND-NEW Functional Group Training classes, designed to suit all fitness levels and ages. Including:

  • Functional Strength
  • Functional Core
  • Functional Fit
  • Active Age Functional Fit
  • Junior Functional Fit

📣 VIP Tours and Member Incentives

Be among the first to explore the refurbished gym by booking a VIP TOUR These tours will start on 16th – 22nd December and will resume after the Christmas week from 2nd – 5th January, running weekly until the official reopening.
